We're looking back at David and Ashley's wedding from October, held at Bluewater Grill in Applecross. 

Whilst same sex marriage isn't available in Australia, because David is from the UK they were able to have their legal ceremony at the British Consulate in the city, with their family there to witness it in person and also skyped in. 

We then headed over the river to Applecross for some photos on the foreshore, before heading up to Heathcote for a ceremony in front of their family and friends. The storm clouds had been looming all afternoon, and the rain hit just as Dave and Ash entered so it was a quick retreat into the beautiful wine room at Bluewater Grill. 

The big surprise of the day had been months in the making - Dave had arranged for Ash's vintage Mini to be restored and sent over the Perth as a wedding present. It was like a scene from Car SOS (Although it was for a happy reason it was being done!) with all the guests gathered at the front of the restaurant for when the car arrived.
